The purpose of the census is to update the official population figures. It is essential that we count each person in our Municipality on April 1, 2025, and we need your help to make this happen.
Your participation in Census 2025 provides valuable information:
- to better plan for the needs of our communities, including schools, parks, and emergency services,
- to provide health and community services,
- to understand how our region's population is changing, and
- ensures our region receives adequate grant funding.

This municipal census is being conducted under the
authority of section 57 of the Municipal Government Act. The collection of
personal information is authorized by section 33(c) of the Freedom of
Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The enumerators involved in the
census have sworn an Oath of Confidentiality. All information collected will be
kept confidential and used only to produce anonymous statistics. If you have
